80 million records, sixteen Grammy Awards and the most successful band in alternative rock radio history with 13 number one singles.

Time has always been the great determinating factor in how we measure the success of an artist, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers have proved their worth in increments of decades. Given our 40 plus years, we'd like to think that our products could be measured by the same standard. That said, it was gratifying to see our PowerLink Stringers tucked neatly away, supplying continuous power to the darkest depths of the stage, our classic multipair cable routing audio flawlessly show after show, our MultiSelectors silently switching instrument and amps, to the searing, engaging punch of our BOMB pedal when the lead guitar simply needs to melt faces. The RHCPs have delivered show after show, city after city, platinum recording after platinum recording, and we'd like to think we've delivered for them. When it's mission critical, and perfection is the norm, we'll always have your back. We would like to thank The Red Hot Chili Peppers for over two decades of sold out performances, over 20 albums, and most of all, thank you for choosing Whirlwind.
In case you didn't know...
Red Hot Chili Peppers, also sometimes shortened to "The Chili Peppers" or abbreviated as "RHCP", are an American funk rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1983. The group's musical style primarily consists of rock with an emphasis on funk, as well as elements from other genres such as punk rock and psychedelic rock. When played live, their music incorporates elements of jam band due to the improvised nature of much of their performances. Currently, the band consists of founding members vocalist Anthony Kiedis and bassist Flea, longtime drummer Chad Smith, and former touring guitarist Josh Klinghoffer. Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the best-selling bands of all time with over 80 million records sold worldwide, have been nominated for sixteen Grammy Awards, of which they have won six, and are the most successful band in alternative rock radio history, currently holding the records for most number-one singles (13), most cumulative weeks at number one (85) and most top-ten songs (25) on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart.[1] In 2012, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
