Two sister ships to the original Grand Princess - Golden Princess & Star Princess were constructed at the Fincantieri Shipyards in Monfalcone, Italy for Princess Cruise Lines. Golden Princess weighs in at 109,000 tonnes, and made its inaugural cruise in May 2001.
Both feature state of the art sound and lighting systems designed and installed by Thomas Gregor Associates
With all audio cables, multicores, stageboxes and Main Theatre connector panels by Whirlwind.
TGA of Los Angeles, CA are the design consultants to Princess Cruises Entertainments and as such are currently specifying Whirlwind products in the next 7 Princess ships.
