First Baptist Church of Jonesboro Sight Sound Innovations
The custom panels pictured here are part of a giant and innovative 'Ultra Patch Master" system designed by First Baptist Church of Jonesboro in Jonesboro GA and Sight Sound Innovations of Atlanta GA (770 986-0346)
The left side panel contains eight W5 and W6 MicroMASS connectors labeled "Choir", "Drums/Bass", "Orchestra", etc. These are for connecting subsnakes from the various performance areas of the church.
These connections are fed directly to the corresponding color coded tails located next to each MicroMASS group. The tails can then be patched as necessary to the 56 input XLRs and/or the 32 return XLR males located on the right hand panel. (Master return lines are input via the W6 MicroMASS on the right hand panel.)
After patching is complete, the design allows the extra cabling to be pushed back though the opening leaving a neat and dressed appearance.
ISO 1 and ISO 2 splits are accomplished with Whirlwind TRSP2 transformers and outputs are via W4 MASS connectors. All multipin connectors are mounted on hinge adapters allowing the cables to hang down at an angle.
