Iris: Remote Audio & I/O Distribution Module
The Iris audio module is at the center of ASTi's latest generation digital audio and I/O distribution equipment. Used in conjunction with ASTi's Telestra sound and communications modeling and processing system, the USB-based Iris module provides a complete solution for communications and sound simulation applications, live-to-simulated radio and comms bridging, networked audio and I/O distribution, and real-world intercom and communications applications.
Whirlwind assisted ASTi in fine tuning the Iris' audio circuitry design, and builds the complete module from board manufacturing through enclosure assembly. Additionally, Whirlwind supplies all of ASTi's custom cables.
